Description
The Tow and Fert Multi 500 is a completely stand alone machine. It runs off its own onboard Kohler 5.5hp petrol engine, so it needs nothing from the vehicle towing it, and it sits behind a large ATV, side-by-side or ute.
With a 500 litre tank it dissolves up to 150 kg of urea in cold water, or holds up to 300 kg of dry fine particle product in suspension. Magnesium oxide, lime flour and trace elements go out dissolved or suspended, spread even, with no dust.
Because it’s your machine, you put fertiliser on when it suits the paddock and the plant, not when a contractor can fit you in. On a dairy farm that can mean spraying once the cows have walked off.
The Multi 500 features our re-circulation boom design, which delivers a 7 to 8 metre spread through one nozzle. The re-circulation boom means product cannot settle out in the dead areas found on typical boom sprayers.
It’s fitted with a Metalform 100% stainless steel trash pump and a silicon carbide mechanical seal. All fittings come off without a toolbox and can be changed in the paddock.
A low centre of gravity makes it a versatile machine on rolling country. Depending on your application rate, the Multi 500 covers around 3 to 4 hectares in 25 minutes.
